In the seventies Ken from the Cheques, Marden and Mike from the Pig and Whistle, Chainhurst started the Miken Darts League to help there trade on Monday nights.
The League was ran from the Pig and Whistle by Mike with help from Tommy Furnell. The League started with 8 pubs in the Marden area (No Clubs), as of today only one is still playing, The West End Tavern. Now we have Teams from all over the Weald, Benenden-Cranbrook-Horsmonden-Marden-Staplehurst-Boughton Monchelsea.
Shepherd Neame sponsor the league trophies each year. We are always looking for new teams to come into the league to make it bigger and better.
Monday 19th December at BOUGHTON CLUB, draw at 8PM for 8.30PM start. Darts Team Competition £10 per Team payable by 12th December to Ted. Six players in each team 901 best of Five legs
